I am a San Diego native that was born right here in East County at Grossmont Hospital. From a young age of about 12, I knew I wanted to be a doctor and that soon grew in to a desire to be a pediatrician as I loved to care for children. Growing up I was an avid athlete ranging from gymnastics, to being a collegiate softball player and many other sports in between.

Early in my college career I found myself needing multiple doctor visits. All of which I saw a different doctor each time and for not more than 5min each, ending in either another prescription or wait and see result. I started to question that there had to be a better way to care for one’s health and others. Coincidentally, during that same time I was assigned a job shadowing project by one of my professors. It was then I decided to take a look at chiropractic and after a half day following the doctor around, watching her care for multiple generations, and have a personal connection with the patients; I knew what I was meant to do.

I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree as valedictorian in 2005 and then embarked on the intensive International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association seminar series to grow my knowledge and skills to care for the prenatal and pediatric community and am Webster Certified. I have been serving whole families and all others in San Diego ever since 2006… whew, that went fast. I am so excited to bring my experience and love for Chiropractic and real health to the AMAZING Awesome Family Chiropractic team.

On a more personal note, I am married with two amazing kids that I homeschool, we have a black lab and two desert tortoises. I enjoy lifting weights, cycling at home on my Peloton(I used to be a cycle instructor), coach baseball & softball and love to hike and box. I have a passion for instilling a healthy and active lifestyle into my children and all those around me to attain a better quality of life!
